Master bedroom with integrated bath
The master bedroom includes a super kingsize bed with luxury ensuite bathroom, including a separate walk-in shower and bath tub, while the second bedroom enjoys views over the tranquil inner courtyard and is furnished with two over-sized single beds. There is a second, separate luxury bathroom, with large walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
The ceilings throughout the apartment are 3.5 metres (10 feet) high, and several of the rooms include floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing masses of natural light to flood into the apartment. The finest parquet wooden floor has been laid in all the rooms except the bathrooms and kitchen, where you will find elegant Villeroy & Boch floor tiles.

The very spacious living room (30 square metres) includes a large corner sofa, as well as all the entertainment gadgets you could wish for: large LCD TV, home cinema system with CD player and a MP3 player connection, and a DVD player. If cooking is your thing, then you will find everything you need in the fully-fitted kitchen, which is equipped with a ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and toaster. However, with so many great restaurants, bars and cafes on your doorstep, you may find that you prefer to let somebody else do the hard work!

The apartment is situated right in the centre of Berlin, in the best possible location, just half a mile from the Brandenburg Gate and the German Parliament building (Reichstag). The famous and glamorous Friedrichstrasse and Unter den Linden streets, with their world-class shopping, museums and entertainment, are just a few steps away. Named after Prince Friedrich III of Brandenburg, Friedrichstrasse is the main north-south thoroughfare of Berlin, running from Kreuzberg in the north through historic sites, such as Unter den Linden and Checkpoint Charlie.
Friedrichstrasse train station offers superb transport connections, with U-Bahn (underground), S-Bahn (overground) and Regional train lines running through it, connecting with all parts of Berlin and beyond.

How to reach the apartment when arriving in Berlin:
By Road:
The nearest motorway exit is to the north of the city centre and is called "Dreieck Funkturm" (A100). Since 1st January 2008, Berlin's inner city is an "environmental zone", where only cars that comply with strict emission standards are allowed. You will need a sticker with information about the emission standards of your car.
By Air:
From Tegel airport, take the TX9 bus to the stop "Karlplatz" (25 mins).
From Schönefeld airport, take the regional train RE7 ("Airport Express" to Friedrichstrasse train station (43 mins).
By Train:
From the Hauptbahnhof (central station), take the TX9 bus to the "Karlplatz" stop (5 mins). Alternatively, you can take a taxi or, if you are carrying only hand luggage, it is possible to walk in less than 15 minutes.
By Taxi:
Tegel Airport: 11,9 km, 19 mins, 20 Euro; Schoenefeld Airport: 23,1 km, 26 mins, 33 Euro Hauptpbahnhof (central station): 2 km, 5 mins, 6 Euro
