Central 1-room apartment (50 sqm) in Warschauer Strasse in the heart of Berlin. It is a loft apartment in the attic of the building (a lift is not available). The perfect location in the middle of Berlin!
The apartment is situated in the district of Friedrichshain. You will be living in the middle of this lively and creative district, which borders the district of Mitte. The numerous connections to public transport make it easy to discover the rest of the city.

At the same time, there is an exciting and interesting life in the immediate area. All the shops you need for your daily requirements are practically on your doorstep. Similarly, numerous restaurants, cafes and places of interest are all within easy reach.
The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. The pleasant high-ceilinged rooms (on average 3.50 m) as well as the restored roof-beams give the flat a special charm.

The apartment comes complete with furnishings and original wooden floor boards. Lovingly selected accessories and decorations give the apartment a congenial and welcoming atmosphere. It was completely newly furnished in 2009. The large table offers place enough to dine in company. Because of the east-facing windows, the apartment is very bright.
The house was built in 1907 and is an excellent example of the period building style in Berlin. In 2001, the house’s facade was renovated according to its status as a historical building.
There is a laundrette in the house. Bicycles can be hired from the bike shop on the other side of the street.

The apartment has got a quality lounge area with a sofa-bed. Original wooden floorboards have been preserved throughout the flat. The bathroom (with shower) has been newly tiled. The fully fitted kitchenette provides a place not only for a small breakfast but also for a luxurious meal. Bed linen and towels, of course, come free of charge. Likewise, there is free Internet access via WLAN.
Friedrichshain is part of the district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and takes it name from the park Friedrichshain in the north of the district. It extends southwards to the banks of the river Spree. This district is one of the German capital’s lively “scene” areas.

Nearby the apartment are sights such as Frankfurter Tor ("wedding cake" style architecture from the 1950s) and the stretch of listed buildings on Karl Marx Allee. The virtually traffic-free promenade Simon-Dach-Strasse, with its countless cafes, restaurants and pleasant little shops, can be easily reached on foot – likewise the newly built arena O2-World.
Additionally, you will find all the shops you need for daily supplies in the immediate vicinity, and all of Berlin’s major tourist attractions are quickly accessible. Within quick reach locally are: the public park with it’s sunbathing lawn; the river Spree (East Side Gallery and the remains of the Berlin Wall!); the famous “Badeschiff”; the Treptower Park (wonderful steamboat trips, fantastic parkland).

Berlin possesses an extensive public transport network, and the apartment’s connections are optimal. Many places of interest are within quick and easy reach. Because of the central location, most guests choose to leave their car parked, or don´t even bring it at all.
The apartment is situated in the Berliner district Friedrichshain, close to the border with Mitte district, directly at the underground (U-Bahn) / urban railway (S-Bahn) station Warschauer Strasse, and also close to the underground station Frankfurter Tor. You will be living in a truly perfect central location, without compare in Berlin.

The nearest motorway exits, Dreieck Neukölln (A100/A113) / Tempelhof (A100), are a few minutes drive away south of the apartment. Alternatively, there is the (A109) Prenzlauer Promenade to the north of the apartment.
From Tegel Airport, take the bus TXL to the central railway station Hauptbahnhof, and then take an S-Bahn travelling east (various lines) to the station Warschauer Strasse (42 min. journey time). From here, it is only a few metres on foot.
From Schönefeld Airport, take the S-Bahn S9 (or another similar S-line) to the station Warschauer Strasse (27 min. journey time). From here, it is only a few metres on foot.

From the central railway station Hauptbahnhof, take an S-Bahn travelling east (various lines) to the station Warschauer Strasse (13 min. journey time). From here, it is only a few metres on foot.
