An inexpensive 1-room holiday apartment (55 sqm studio) in the attic of a charming period building from 1890, located near Kumdamm in Charlottenburg. The apartment is newly renovated and tastefully furnished. It is a typical Berliner period building with high ceilings, and particular highlights are the wonderful balcony and the cosy fireplace.
Despite the central location, you can enjoy complete peace and quiet here, business travellers and holidaymakers alike.

Enjoy the large bright room with a comfortable double bed (140x200), modern sofa, TV, stereo, video and DVD player.
Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, refridgerator, microwave, kettle, small dining table, dishes and kitchenware from wine glasses to frying pans, cutlery, coffee machine, toaster: everything you need for a quick breakfast or a luxurious dinner.
The bathroom has a luxurious bathtub with shower and WC.
The apartment is perfectly located in Charlottenburg, and all the important destinations of Berlin are quickly reachable.

The flat is centrally located in beautiful Charlottenburg, close to theatres, restaurants, shops, cafes, galleries and antique shops. You will also be living near the famous Berliner trade fair and exhibition centre (Messe / ICC), the fashionable shopping mile Kurfürstendamm, as well as the Technical University, and the Acedemy of Arts. All are reachable on foot. Additionally, with the nearby Lake Lietzensee, you have a green oasis within easy reach of your front door.
Public transport facilities are also close by. With the underground (U-Bahn), it is only wo stops to Zoologischer Garten and four stops to Wittenberg Platz (KaDeWe), Kurfürstendamm, and the Gedächtniskirche (Memorial Church). It is seven stops to Potsdamer Platz with its cinemas, theaters, concert halls, shopping mall and museums at Kulturforum.
The flat is in a quiet and secure location in a charming street. There is a gas station with 24-hour convenience store. Free parking on the street is possible.

In Berlin you will find a very compact public transport network. Many sights are directy and rapidly accessible. Because of the central location most guests leave their cars parked or do not even bring them at all. Several underground lines, (night-) buses and a taxi stand are close to the apartment.
The nearest motorway exit is a few minutes drive away to the south of the flat, and is called Messe.

From the airport Tegel take the bus 109 to the station S-Bahn Charlottenburg (33 min.).
From the airport Schönefeld take the S9 (or an other S-line) to the station Hermannstrasse and change into the S41 (or another line) to S-Bahn Charlottenburg (58 min.).
From Hauptbahnhof (central train station) take the S-Bahn S9 (or another S-line) in the direction Spandau to the station S-Bahn Charlottenburg (11 min.).
