Pretty 1-room apartment (38 sqm) with friendly living-/sleeping area and american kitchen. Cabel-TV, midi–hifi, free internet connection, generous space for luggage and clothing. A comfortable double bed (160 x 200) including sufficient bed linen and towels. You could combine this apartment with a guestroom in the same house.
Eating space for three people. Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, refridgerator, dishes and kitchenware from wine glasses to frying pans, cutlery, coffee machine, toaster: everything you need for a quick breakfast or a luxurious dinner. There is also a washing machine in the kitchen.

The apartment is located in the central district of Kreuzberg, on a street next to Lausitzer Platz. From here, you can reach sights such as the Jewish Museum, Checkpoint Charlie and the shops and museums of Mitte on foot. Should you need to use public transport, there is an underground station two minutes´ walk away. There are also many bus connections and a taxi-rank around the corner.

Kreuzberg is one of Berlin’s liveliest districts. The flat is just a minute´s walk away from Oranienstrasse with its shops and galleries, bars, restaurants and clubs. Should you need some peace and quiet you can walk to the Landwehr canal – a tree-lined canal with quiet cafes on Paul-Linke-Ufer, and it’s food market on Tuesdays and Fridays at Maybach Ufer, reputed to be one of the most interesting markets in Berlin. Numerous shopping opportunities close to the lively cultural, trend and nightlife areas, directly on your doorstep.

You will meet the typical mixture of antiques, countless cafés and a multitude of restaurants, art shops, galeries, antiquariat bookstores and small businesses. Many small and medium shops in the vicinity entice one to a diverse shopping experience.
In Berlin you will find a very compact public transport network. Many sights are directy and rapidly accessible. Because of the central location most guests leave their cars parked or do not even bring them at all. The apartment lies directly at underground station Görlitzer Bahnhof, it is 2 minutes walk away. There are also bus connections not far away.

The nearest motorway departure is Tempelhofer Damm (A100, and is a few car minutes away from the apartment.
From the airport Tegel you take the bus 128 to the station Alexanderplatz, change there into the underground line U8 (direction Hermannplatz) and travel to the station Kottbusser Tor. Here, change for one station into the other underground line U1 to Görlitzer Bahnhof (45 min.). From the airport Schönefeld you take the bus 191 to the station Rudow, change into the underground line U7 (direction Rathaus Spandau) and travel to the station Hermannplatz. Here change into the U8 line (direction Osloer Strasse) and travel to the station Kottbusser Tor, and here, change for one station into the U1 line to Görlitzer Bahnhof (52 min.).
